Our mission
At Impact Response World Wide, our mission is clear and unwavering: to offer equality and support for those who are at risk. We firmly believe that every individual deserves access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, and shelter. It is plain and simple - no one should have to go without these fundamental needs.
We understand the power of education in transforming lives, which is why we are committed to providing families and individuals with new skills and resources that empower them to live a better life. By equipping individuals with the necessary tools and knowledge, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and create lasting change.
Our team consists of passionate individuals who work tirelessly towards our goal of ending homelessness. They advocate for others when they can't do so themselves - amplifying the voices of those marginalized by society.
Ultimately, our mission is rooted in compassion and the belief that everyone deserves equal opportunities and access to basic necessities. Together with our supporters, volunteers, and partners, we strive towards creating a society where everyone has a safe place they call home.
Our History
My early life began in Haiti, where I was born and grew up alongside my five brothers. In 1994, a new chapter unfolded as my baby brother and I were fortunate enough to be adopted by an American family and moved to the United States. This transition exposed me to a world of possibilities and opportunities that I had never imagined.
As a child, I quickly learned about the harsh reality of enormous poverty that millions of people face. Witnessing the substandard living conditions and the stark inequality that plagued Haiti left a profound impact on me. It ignited a fire within me, a burning desire to make a difference and contribute towards positive change.
In 2015, driven by this passion, I embarked on a journey back to Haiti with my son. Together, we volunteered with multiple organizations dedicated to mitigating poverty and improving living conditions for those in need. It was an eye-opening experience that further solidified my commitment to making lasting change.
During this time, three of my brothers who had also moved from Haiti joined us in our mission. Together as a family united by compassion and determination, we worked tirelessly towards creating better opportunities for those who had been marginalized by poverty.
Through our efforts, we witnessed firsthand the transformative power of collective action and empathy. We saw how small actions can have significant impacts on individuals' lives and entire communities.
This experience taught me that no matter where we come from or what challenges we face, we have the power within us to create positive change. It reminded me that every individual has unique talents and abilities that can be harnessed for the greater good.
Today, I continue to carry with me the lessons learned from my early life in Haiti - resilience in the face of adversity, empathy for those less fortunate, and an unwavering belief in our ability to make a difference. My journey has only just begun as I strive to inspire others with my story and work towards building a more equitable and compassionate world for all.
